The National Monuments Service's description
A roughly circular bivallate rath (KE043-051----) situated in level, marshy ground, on the floor of the valley of the Milltown river.
A large hole which may mark the location of a souterrain KE043-051001-.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 430. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
