The National Monuments Service's description

Very little remains of this univallate ringfort situated on the lower E slopes of Lateevemore. On an aerial photograph taken in 1949 (Ministry of Defence, V. 158/100), the site appears as a circular enclosure with a single bank and fosse. However, it was for the most part destroyed during recent removal of adjacent field fences. All that remains is a roughly circular raised area, c. 47m in diameter and no more than .3m high.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 640. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
