National Monument No. 519. Calluragh burial ground/An Cheallnúach: KE042-060001- is located about 1.25km E of the village of Ballyferriter on approximately the highest point in the townland with a good view to the N over Smerwick Harbour.

(8) Cross-inscribed pillars and slabs: Stone G (KE042-060021-) was found within the oratory. It is of red sandstone shaped to give a rounded circular head and a tapering shaft now broken. The main dressed face is decorated with a recessed Maltese cross within a circle below which a step pattern, symmetrically carved, gives a double traverse effect to the stem. The stem pattern expands into a spiral design directly below the cross, and there are traces of a titulus motif above the cross. The opposite face of the slab is decorated with a plain Latin cross. L: .55m. W: .35m. T: .5m. This stone is now Músaem Chorca Dhuibhne, Baile an Fheirtéaraigh, Co. Chiarraí (pers. comm. Isabel Bennett) where it has been assigned the monument number KE042-170----.
