The National Monuments Service's description

This site was not noted on the OS maps but is known locally as a lios. It has not been extant within living memory. The site is marked by a raised area, about 27m in diameter and .3 to .4m high, now divided by a N-S field fence. A small mound near its E edge may simply be field clearance debris.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 698. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
