Circular clochaun marked on OS maps now reduced to a low mound of earth and stone. A souterrain (KE042-021001-) was discovered in the vicinity of the site about 50 years ago (local information).
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1509. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
