The National Monuments Service's description

Monument on wet poorly drained land described in 1985 by the Castleisland District Archaeological Survey as a roughly D-shaped mound (dims. 16m NE-SW x 11.5m SE-NW; H 0.65m) of burnt material with possible trough area to NW where the ground is waterlogged. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13.
