The National Monuments Service's description

Monument described in 1985 by the Castleisland District Archaeological Survey as a univallate ringfort situated on S facing slope with good view over low-lying land to the S. Circular shaped area (diam. 28) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 1.45m; ext. H 1/15m; top Wth 3.35m) with faint traces of an external fosse and possible entrance gap (Wth 2.37m) at ESE (SMR File). Possible livestock gap in bank at NW. Outline of monument visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13.
