The National Monuments Service's description
'A standing stone is recorded at this site in Tonavane and is marked on the OS 1st Edition 6" sheet as "Gallaun". The stone was extant until the mid-1950's (local information) and was of red sandstone approximately 1.9m in height. The stone was in close proximity to an enclosure and souterrain (KE038-004- & KE038-005-).'
