The National Monuments Service's description
This is probably the site of the destroyed cashel recorded by Browne et al (1911, 47). It consists of an ill-defined level platform, on the otherwise steeply sloping E side of Glenfais. It measures roughly 18m in maximum dimension, and its downslope side is enclosed by a stony bank, up to 1.5m high, which may represent the remains of the cashel wall.
