A univallate rath situated on a N facing slope about 400m from the S shore of Tralee Bay. The single earthen bank which surrounds the sub-circular interior is preserved to a height of 1.1 to 1.2m along its E half, but the W half has been replaced by modern stone walls. Both the bank and the interior are densely overgrown and inspection of the interior is rendered more difficult again by its present use as a slurry pit. However, the ruins of a stone hut are visible a little NW of centre. This consists of a circular area, about 4m in diameter, enclosed by a low bank of grass-grown collapse about 1.4m wide and .2 to .3m high.
