The National Monuments Service's description

Univallate rath KE037-006 and probable house-site KE037-006001- situated on the level coastal strip between Tralee Bay and the N slopes of the Slieve Mish mountains.

The centre of the interior is occupied by the ruins of a probable house-site KE037-006001-. A 7.25m long stretch of its E wall survives as a stony bank, .4m high and 1.5m wide, but the remainder of the structure is represented only by an irregular scatter of stones.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 384. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
