The National Monuments Service's description
In rough fern-covered grazing on a N-facing hillslope with a view N to the mouth of Tralee Bay. A circular hut (diam. 2.8m) is defined by the remains of a drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.35m) consisting mainly of larger stones. Rubble is scattered around the perimeter and ferns obscure the level interior.
