The National Monuments Service's description

Internal diam. 23m
Lismorenacoola/Lios na Cúlach: A univallate rath situated in an elevated position on the SE slopes of Corrin Hill. The site lies in rough pastureland near the head of the small valley through which a tributary of the Finglas river flows NE towards Glenfais. The circular interior slopes downhill to E and is enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and external fosse. The bank rises 1.4m above the interior on the upslope side but only .45m on the downslope side. Externally, it varies in height from 1.6 to 1m on the downslope and upslope sides respectively. It averages 4m in width at base. The fosse is a maximum of .75 to 1m deep, but on the upslope side it appears more impressive due to the rising hillslope beyond. There are 3 breaks in the bank, that at ESE possibly marking the original entrance. Its S side is lined by a slab set on edge, and a 2nd stone, set .5m beyond this in the interior, may also be related to the entrance. A possible hut in the centre of the enclosure is marked by an ill-defined bank, up to .4m high, enclosing a roughly sub-circular space c. 2m in diameter.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 365. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
