This circular univallate rath encloses the remains of a single hut. It is situated on the floor of the small valley which is bounded to NW by Corrin Hill and to SE by Knockbrack. It lies about 50m from the E bank of the river, on gently sloping ground that falls away N towards the entrance to the valley. The poorly-preserved earthen bank has been reduced to a low scarp in the NE and SW quadrants, the interior being raised .8 to .9m above the external ground level in the former sector and being depressed .6 to .7m below it in the latter sector. Elsewhere it is a maximum of .3m high internally and .7m high externally and is 2.15m wide at base. Drystone revetment walling is preserved intermittently along both the inner and outer faces. The very ruined remains of a circular stone hut, c. 4.6m in diameter, are located a little W of the centre of the enclosure.
