The National Monuments Service's description
A semi-circular platform KE036-064---- is located in the E corner of a field about 130m E of the Glannagalt river. It measures 25m SSE-NNW and 13m E-W across its upper surface and is raised c. 0.5m above the external ground level. This is probably the remains of a ringfort.
A 'cave' was formerly visible at the site (local information).
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 732. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
