The National Monuments Service's description
A large irregularly-shaped standing stone situated on level pastureland which falls away towards the Meennascarty river c. 75m to S. It stands 2.4m high and averages 1.25m in width and 1.15m in thickness at base; ESE-WNW.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 101. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
