The National Monuments Service's description
In mountain heath and rough pasture (104m OD), on a NE-facing slope. Excellent views of Brandon Mountain range, Brandon Bay and Maharee Islands NW->N->NE; Overlooked by Slievanea mountain to SW. A slightly rough and fractured sandstone (dims. 2.76m E-W; min. 1.40m N-S; max. H 0.35m) with a flat, oval, decorated surface (dims. 0.05m E-W; 0.05m N-S) which is obscured by vegetation, except along N and E edges. A single, well-defined cupmark (diam. 3.5cm; D 5mm) is located at E edge. Possibly other motifs upon this stone, however these would be obscured by vegetation.
