The National Monuments Service's description
There are no visible remains of the circular enclosure marked on the OS maps. It was situated on a slight eminence at the foot of Slievenagower and Beenbo mountains and abutted the W side of the townland boundary.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 623. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
