There is now no visible trace of the circular enclosure KE035-058---- marked on the OS maps.
Curran (no.12) described the site with traces of 2 clochauns in the interior. He was informed that a rude quern stone had been found within. Local information suggests that there was a souterrain at the site.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 710. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
