The National Monuments Service's description
A small mound of cockle shells on the W side of the estuary of the Scorid and Glennahoo rivers, on the S side of Brandon Bay. It has not been determined whether this is a natural collection of shells or a site of archaeological significance. (information: A. McCarthy)
