The National Monuments Service's description
A circular enclosure was shown on the 1st edition of the OS map less than 20m N of a 2nd enclosure which is partially preserved (KE035-027----). It was situated on a NW facing slope of Drom Hill overlooking the estuary of the Owenmore river. No visible trace survives.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 673. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
