Semi-circular enclosure KE035-016---- is situated on a N facing slope overlooking Brandon Bay.
There is a local tradition of a souterrain (KE035-016001-) here but it has not been visible within living memory.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 449. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
