The National Monuments Service's description
Henry (1937, 276) recorded a calluragh burial ground near the last house of Faha village. It was 'devoid of any remains' but was still respected and left un-ploughed. It is not now remembered locally and its precise location has not been identified. An early ecclesiastical site, with cross-slabs, lies c. 450m to NE of the village (KE034-014003-).
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 898. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
