The National Monuments Service's description
This is one of three possible huts (KE034-132006-, KE034-132007-) described by Cuppage (1986, 413, no. 1340) as 'D-shaped structures abutting the inner face of the SW wall of the enclosure. They range from 2.1 x 1.2m to 4 x 3m in diameter internally and their walls are nowhere more than 0.6m high.' These lies 'within or directly outside a large, roughly square enclosure/field [KE034-132001-]'. It is unclear from the entry the precise location of this possible hut site and how it relates to the 'sheepfolds' marked on the OS 6-inch map (1893-4). Consequently, this possible hut site has to be considered an unlocated monument until such time as the area can be further investigated. (Sheila Ronan, 30 June 2006)
