The National Monuments Service's description
This standing stone is situated on a W facing slope, in rough and rocky but enclosed pastureland at the entrance to Com an Lochaigh. It stands 2.15m high and is .6m thick x 1.6m wide at base tapering evenly towards a roughly rounded top; NE-SW.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 76. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
