The National Monuments Service's description
On a tract of relatively level and rock-free ground about 30m W of upper reaches of Feohanagh river. An oval corbelled drystone hut with a lintelled entrance, .65m wide x .9m high, at E. Two lintelled recesses in wall, one of which may have been an entrance to a wall-passage. D: 3.1 x 2.75m. H: 2m. T: A wedge-shaped enclosure, 4m x 1.5 to 3m, abuts hut at N, and a 2nd enclosure, 2m square, lies directly W of the 1st.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1037. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
