The National Monuments Service's description
(a) A roughly circular, corbelled drystone hut measuring 3.4 to 3.7m in diameter internally. The wall is 1.5m thick and stands to a maximum height of 2m; it has largely collapsed at E, in the vicinity of the entrance, and much of the E half of the wall appears to have been rebuilt. This hut may have acted as an outbuilding to the nearby dwelling-house.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 23. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
