The National Monuments Service's description
In steep rocky terrain on N side of Com an Lochaigh. A sub-rectangular corbelled drystone hut (KE034-081----) which retains its roof. Two wall niches. D: 2.3 x 2m. H: 1.7m. Formed by construction of a secondary wall across interior of an earlier pear-shaped structure measuring c. 4 x 2m.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1052. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
