In open mountain terrain overlooking N end of Com an Lochaigh. A pair of hut foundations (KE034-049---- and KE034-049001-). Hut 1 (KE034-049----): An oval corbelled drystone foundation. D: 2.58 x 1.42m. H: 1.15m. T: .7m. Hut 2 (KE034-049001-): A roughly circular corbelled drystone hut with 4 lintelled niches in wall. D: 3.14 to 3.43m. H: 2.1m.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage (compiler) 'Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey.' Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne (1986), no. 1099. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
