The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the lower W slopes of Brandon mountain, circular cashel KE034-022---- contains the remains of at least 7 stone huts and a souterrain.

(2) Conjoined to the W side of hut (KE034-022001-) are the remains of the N half of a 2nd hut. The wall is 1.3m high but the upper .8m is apparently rebuilt. The entrance to W is faced on its S side only. The remainder of the S wall has collapsed and its outline is unclear. The present remains define a narrow oval area, 5.3m E-W x 2.4m N-S, but the S limit may represent later modification. If originally circular then the entrance in hut (KE034-022001-) would have opened directly onto the E wall of this hut.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 538. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
