The National Monuments Service's description

On lower W slopes of Brandon mountain range. The site of a hut KE034-006---- now marked by a raised oval platform, 10.9 x 9m in extent. Near N edge is the entrance to a drystone-built souterrain passage which extends 2.4m to S, and which is 1m wide and .45m high above the earth and stone debris which covers the floor. It is roofed by 4 large slabs.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1135. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
