Described in 1987 as follows; 'The feature is roughly situated at the centre of the ringfort interior with the ground sloping to the south. Below ground level is a circular area 3.7m in diameter lined with a well constructed dry stone wall. the small flat stones are coursed to a height of 1m on the upslope and 0.45m on the downslope. On the south side it has been damaged by a tree trunk and in the other places the wall begins to lean slightly inward'.
