The National Monuments Service's description

'An amorphous mound of field clearance, now substantially overgrown, occurs near the river. It seems to be the result of reclaimation of this side of the field, and a large amount of burnt stone and charcoal can be seen in this mound.'

Compiled by Michael Connolly for the Archaeological Survey of Ireland as part of a survey of the Lee Valley area in 1996-97.

Date of upload: 27 April 2012
