'Located in gently sloping ground, the Record of Monuments and Places record a field system and associated enclosure in this area. The site is located in an area that has been the subject of extensive land improvement and field amalgamation over the last 15 years. The enclosure (KE029-122001-) here has been levelled and only low level and partially crop mark remains of the site are visible. The site is subcircular, almost thumbnail shaped and originally comprised two earthen banks with an intervening ditch or fosse. The remains of the earthen banks are on average 4.8m wide and only 0.20 - 0.40m in height. The Intervening ditch is on average 4m wide, though it is clear on aerial photography (Black & White 1998) that the width of this ditch/fosse is irregular around the site, being widest to the south-east and much narrower to the west. The site measures 68m N-S and 63m E-W. The recorded field banks (KE029-122002-) are really only clearly visible on aerial photography though undulations on the ground surface do represent these features. The stone and earth banks where visible on the ground survive only intermittently and are on average 3.6m wide and 0.3m high. The two main banks run in a generally E-W direction, the more northerly passing north of the above enclosure the more southerly running up against the outer bank of the enclosure. Aerial photography indicates at least two major NE-SW running banks intersecting the E-W banks. Two small crop mark features (KE029-122003-, KE029-122004-), approximately 12-15m in diameter can also be clearly seen. One is located between the two main E-W running field banks , while the other is 40m to the north in an area with remains of possible further short banks. Immediately outside the marked RMP constraint for the field system, to the north, there is a large circular crop mark (KE029-122005-), which seems to represent a univallate enclosure, approximately 60m in diameter.'
