The discovery of this previously unrecorded souterrain was reported by the landowner. The opening in the roof of the chamber/passage measures 1.10m by 0.7m the large boulder like lintel that spanned the opening now rests on the floor of the passage/chamber effectively, due to its size, preventing access to the northern end of the souterrain. The visible chamber/passage runs N-S for a length of 2.9m. This is undoubtedly the southern end of the souterrain as the floor level rises from north to south eventually merging at the southern end of the exposed chamber/passage. The northern end of the chamber passage is partially earth cut with only the upper 0.35 of the maximum (1.22m) height of the chamber/passage constructed of dry stone walling. The creep runs in a northerly direction. It is lintelled and the walling is composed entirely of stone. The north-north-east side of the creep is unstable as the side wall has pushed inwards. While there is also some collapse within the creep itself. The large lintel stuck in the passage/chamber prevents further exploration of the creep and any further chambers and passages. The creep measures approximately 0.6m wide and 0.45m high.
