The National Monuments Service's description
A number of graves were discovered while ploughing a field here near the tip of the Magharees Peninsula. They were described as having built sides and being covered by large slabs (local information). One contained a 'rather large skeleton' (CKFC 1951).
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 202. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
