The National Monuments Service's description

An Seabhac (1939, 223) noted that there was plentiful evidence of a burial ground at Drom na Cille. The name is still applied to the fields on or near the summit of a low hillock between Ballyquin village and the sea but the precise location of the burial ground is not known.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 891. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
