The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on terrain which slopes gently to the E. A roughly square area (22.7m N-S; 20m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank with rounded corners. The bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.55m) is best preserved at NNW. In the level interior, a low rise/bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.3m) runs parallel with the enclosing bank in the SE quadrant. A berm (Wth 1m; L 2.45m) is visible along the base of the external face of bank at W separating it from an adjacent field drain and boundary which skirts around the enclosure from W-NNE.
