The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a S-facing slope. Depicted on the 2nd ed. (1897-8) OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular area (c. 36m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by a bank and external fosse. This ringfort has been largely levelled although a short stretch of the enclosing bank (int. H 1.05m; ext. H 2.3m) has been incorporated into a field boundary at SSW. A scarped edge (H 0.6m) at W suggests the line of the bank with a slight depression (Wth 7m) accentuated by luxuriant grass growth at N, NW and S indicating the presence of a fosse. The interior is under pasture and slopes gently to the S. On the 1st ed. (1841) OS 6-inch map a ‘cave’, suggesting the presence of a souterrain (KE022-014002-), is depicted within the interior at W.
