The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on relatively level terrain at the base of a W-facing slope. A ringfort (KE022-002001-) is immediately adjacent c. 20m to the NNE. A concentration of burnt cinders and stones was discovered here in the course of field fence clearance by the landowner in the early 1970s. When visited in 1985, heat shattered stone and a concentration of dark soil which had been well spread out was noted.
