The National Monuments Service's description
Situated two fields NE of the rath named Lissanearla (770), this circular enclosure is clearly marked on the 1841-42 OS map. On the later edition of 1898 the N sector has been cut by a fieldbank running in a NE-SW direction. No surface trace survives today.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 769. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
