The National Monuments Service's description
According to the landowner, rath KE021-122---- was originally bivallate, but the outer ring was completely removed and no visible trace survives. What remains today is a circular area enclosed by a bank and external fosse.
A circular mound (KE021-122002-) lies in the centre of the interior; it is 7.2m N-S and 7.8m E-W internally and 1.2m high.
6.8m S of the mound is a depression .6m deep (KE021-122001- & KE021-122003-). According to the landowner, this was originally a shaft about 30 feet deep that had to be closed up. Another shaft lay in the N sector, but this has also been closed up.
