The National Monuments Service's description

Internal diameter 26.6m N-S, 27m E-W
This univallate rath is situated in the corner of a field and is bound to the N to W by fieldbanks. It consists of a circular area enclosed by a well-defined earthen bank, which has a steep exterior side. An exterior fosse can be noted N through W to SW. The enclosing bank is on average 8m wide at the base and rises to a maximum of 2m internally and 3.6m externally. The fosse is c 2.6m wide and c 1.7m deep. Access to the interior is gained by a 9m wide gap to the E.
