The National Monuments Service's description
Internal diameter 27m N-S, 24.8m E-W
This circular univallate rath is situated in a large pastoral field though very little now remains of it as the site has been ploughed. The enclosing bank is low and ranges from 7m-11m in width at the base. It rises to 1.4m above the surrounding land and 1.4m above the interior. The interior is at much the same level as the surrounding land.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 715. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
