The National Monuments Service's description

Bivallate rath KE021-024----. The interior is now a semi-circular area enclosed by two banks and an intervening fosse.

The interior is at much the same level as the surrounding land; it contains three sub-rectangular stone structures, possibly house-sites. The largest of these (KE021-024002-) is in the W sector. About 5m to the SE is a smaller stone structure (KE021-024003-), 3.5m x 2.8m, with walls 1.2m thick.

The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 710. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
