The National Monuments Service's description

Effigy of a bishop. 13th cent.
Set upright into the niche on the south side of the east window. Carved in false relief under a cusped pointed arch with foliate decoration on a green sandstone slab. Bearded figure dressed in alb, dalmatic and chasuble, with mitre, amice and fringed embroidered orphreys. His right hand is raised in blessing and the left hand holds an inturned crozier with animal head. Angels rest on his shoulders. Dims: H. 186 W. 44 T. 24.
