The National Monuments Service's description

Internal diameter 24m N-S, 21m E-W
Situated SE of KE016-069---- in the same field, this sub-circular univallate rath has been much levelled. A fieldbank ran along the W side of this site, but this has since been levelled. All that survives is the inner area, enclosed by a low, wide earthen bank; it is c 5m wide and .5m high. Curving in from the W bank on the interior side towards the centre and then curving to the NW is a raised area, 13.4m x 8.6m x .3m high.

The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 617. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
