The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on fairly water-logged and marshy land, this circular enclosure is marked on the 1841-42 and 1914-15 OS maps. Today all that survives is a raised sub-circular area, which is cut on the S side by a fieldbank running E-W. It has a very gentle, 1m rise above the surrounding land.

The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 1067. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
