The National Monuments Service's description
This site is situated in boggy land. To the NW lies a field known locally as church field (950). This horseshoe-shaped mound lies W of a small stream. Its overall dimensions are 10m NE-SW, c21m NW- SE, and 1m high. The incurved front of the mound faces NW. Burnt and fire-shattered stones can dearly be seen.
