The National Monuments Service's description

Internal diameter 20m N-S, 19.4m E-W
This univallate rath is situated in a large pastoral field to the SE of KE015-050---- & KE015-051----. The site consists of a circular area enclosed by a 4.5m wide bank. The bank has been much weakened in places due to rabbit holes. The external height of the bank rises to a maximum of 1.8m above the surrounding land and 1.2m above the interior. The interior, at much the same level as the surrounding land, is thickly covered in tree trunks, brambles and branches.

The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 509. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
